Wonderfully situated apartments across from the internationally- known historical ‘Doctor Vineyard’, absolutely worth seeing!
Our vacation house, an old forge from 1880 was built on top of the old town walls and was completely restored in 2002/2003.
The apartments offer fantastic views from different angles of the house: from the living room and the bedroom you may look at the vineyards and the forest. The view from the backside shows the historical town of Bernkastel and an old monastery.
The house may be accessed by car via a street for residents but is very quiet as Bernkastel itself is almost free of cars!
Its central location implies shops, restaurants and wine pubs in direct vicinity; you may walk to the market place in three minutes.
The modern apartment at the first floor is 70m² and has 2 and half rooms which are equipped with renovated furniture from around 1900. Important details such as the staircase, the doors and the floor have also been restored. The kitchen and the bathroom correspond to modern standards.
There are two public parking spaces within five minutes walking distance: first, Hinterm Graben, Burgstraße (area of the cemetery) and second, the Moselparkplatz. We will provide you with a card so that you may park your car free of charge there.
Next to the house is a spacious court, also restored and planted, where you may enjoy the sun in the mornings, have breakfast or just relax.
Leisure activities: Hiking, biking, wine tasting, sightseeing (the Roman past is omnipresent) or just relax and let your mind wander. Please contact us in advance so that we may organize things beforehand or give you useful advice. For more information in advance, please click here.

Animals (dogs or cats) are allowed: € 5,00/night/animal
Garage: there is a garage in the house providing parking space for one car: € 5,00/night (either for the apartment Doctorberg I or for the apartment Doctorberg II)
Included in the price: electricity, heating, towels for the kitchen and bathroom, bed linen and final cleaning.
Arrival and entry of the apartment are possible from 4 p.m.; Departure until 11 a.m.
You receive the key and further information in our shop WeinStein, located at Markt 13, Bernkastel. Opening hours of the shop: 9.30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
